If you want a balanced touring ski for all your touring days then Atomic Backland 85 is your stick light for climbing, floaty in powder but also strong and edgy enough for getting you there and back. Inside you've got an Ultra Light Woodcore made from poplar/caruba and the ski is shaped for an easy hike and safe grip, especially on longer traverses. Then you've got HRZN Tech Tips with 10% more surface area for awesome floatation in powder plus less tip deflection and better tracking through chop. Extra stability comes from carbon fibers along the ski allowing you to lay down the power on and off piste. We also offer pre-fit skins to match.
